Town of Winchester – WMC designed over six miles of the Sue Grossman Still River Greenway project which is located on an old railroad bed traversing through Torrington and Winsted. The trail includes six bridges which typically included new superstructures founded on existing railroad bridge abutments or new wood decks on the existing steel railroad girders. Design work included load rating of the structures, hydraulic and scour evaluations, as well as extensive permitting through the DEEP.
